Lenswood

The agreement

Terms of Use

Effective date: January 1, 2025

1. Acceptance

By using the Lenswood website, catalog, Fallows feature, cart, or courses, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.

2. Educational scope

Lenswood provides educational material about evaluating photography equipment. Course content is general information, not a promise of a particular artistic, commercial, technical, or financial result. You remain responsible for decisions and purchases.

3. Catalog and orders

Catalog descriptions, formats, prices, and availability may change. The browser cart is a planning interface in this implementation; an order confirmation modal does not process payment or create a completed purchase unless Lenswood separately confirms the transaction.

4. Accounts and browser features

Sign-in and registration controls describe future profile access and direct visitors to contact support. Fallows and cart data are stored locally in the browser and may be lost if browser storage is cleared.

5. Intellectual property

Lenswood owns or licenses the website text, course structure, visual system, and educational materials. You may use purchased or authorized material for personal learning, but may not reproduce, resell, publicly redistribute, or remove rights notices without written permission.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape protected content, submit unlawful material, or impersonate another person. We may restrict access where necessary to protect users and the service.

7. Availability and disclaimers

We aim to keep Lenswood accurate and available but do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every course will suit every photographer. Equipment specifications belong to their manufacturers and should be verified before purchase.

8. Changes and contact

We may revise these terms by publishing an updated effective date. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected] or +1 (503) 555-0148.
